Gifts for People Who Miss the Woods
This guide is sorted by person, not product. Find the one you're shopping for and start there. Every scent below comes from real trees in southern Oregon, distilled in small batches, one species at a time.
For the one who misses the woods
Maybe they moved away from the Pacific Northwest. Maybe work keeps them out of the mountains. Either way, what they're missing is the scent of the actual forest.
Start with a Room & Linen Spray: a few sprays on a couch, in a car, or across a room, and you're instantly transported to the forests of Oregon, surrounded by its towering trees. $14 travel size, $28 full size.
If they run a diffuser, or want a scent that fills a room and sticks around for a while, go with a Pure Essential Oil instead. 4-6 drops and the whole room smells like the forests of the Pacific Northwest. These are highly concentrated (pure essential oil, never diluted or cut) and made for scenting a space, never for skin. $28 for a 5ml bottle.
For the one who hates fake pine
"Pine-scented" products shouldn't smell like the deodorant aisle, and some people recognize the real thing instantly. There's a reason it's so easy to smell the difference.
For them, give them the species they grew up with or have spent the most time around. Douglas-fir is bright and a little lemony, the familiar evergreen for anyone who grew up on the foggy, rainy side of the Pacific Northwest. Ponderosa Pine wins over the high desert lovers and pine-skeptics alike: warm and sweet, with a butterscotch note nobody expects from a pine.

For the one who's impossible to shop for
Don't guess. Give them all five species and let them find their favorite. That's what the Forest Library sets are for. Each one is a full lineup of a single product, every species included.
For the home: the Room Spray Discovery Set is five travel-size sprays ($58), and the Pure Conifer Oil Set is all five essential oils for the diffuser ($116).
For skincare: the Forest Hydrosol Discovery Set ($42) and the travel-size Forest Body Oil Discovery Set ($74).
For grooming: the Beard Oil Discovery Set ($82), and the Essential Oil Roller Set ($74), five skin-safe rollers for the road.
For the beard person
A beard oil they'll actually use: a face-grade carrier base and the essential oil of one species, $20 a bottle. It conditions the beard, and plenty of customers work it into their hair too. The same five species & scents as the rest of our products: bright Douglas-fir, citrusy Grand Fir, understated Noble Fir, warm Ponderosa Pine, and deep, spicy Incense Cedar.
Can't pick one? The Beard Oil Discovery Set is all five. $82.
For the skincare person
Our Forest Body Oil is made for daily moisturizing. The base is deeply hydrating squalane that won't clog pores, with camellia (green tea) seed oil rich in oleic acid and rosehip, scented with the essential oil of whichever species they'd love. $18 travel size, $38 full size.
A Forest Hydrosol makes a lighter gift. It's a gentle facial toner and body mist, made in the still alongside the essential oil. The scent is soft and fades in a few minutes. A skincare step, not a fragrance. $10 travel size, $20 full size.
