Dry Forest Trio — Room Spray Discovery Set

Thank you so much Kelley! Really appreciate the support. On the scent - the 'medicinal' hint you are picking up is real and it is definitely the tree. Douglas-fir has a naturally bright lemon-lime top note with a slight camphoraceous edge from its terpene profile, which can read that way to some noses. It is 100% the essential oil, nothing added. Glad you are enjoying it and hope the other scents hit the mark for you too!

I’m sorry to hear that this didn’t meet your expectations, and I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. Our room sprays do not contain synthetic fragrances or fixatives and are not intended to be permanent. That said, if you sprayed 10 spritzes in a small space, you should be overwhelmed by the scent after 5 minutes, which indicates to me that something may have gone wrong here. I harvest, distill, bottle, and pack every ounce of product myself, so I take full responsibility if an error was made. We will absolutely make it right if that is the case.

In regard to the smoky appearance, this is the intended appearance of our water-based room spray. You should have received an insert in your package explaining that the white color comes from our vegetable-based emulsifier that allows essential oils to mix with water. In the last two weeks, we have moved to an alcohol-based formula (more similar to perfume) which is clear in appearance.

This is so great to read, thank you! You nailed it - Incense Cedar is the furthest thing from the flat, sharp cedar in most products. The ginger, black pepper, and warm cedar shavings is what you get from the real tree, and I am glad that complexity came through. I harvest and distill every batch myself, so hearing it captures what you actually smell on the trail means a lot.

You are right that in open air the scent moves through quickly, since our sprays use no synthetic fragrances or fixatives. On fabric or a tree with all those needles to hold it, it does tend to linger noticeably longer than a quick spritz into the air.
