If pine scents have put you off before, Ponderosa will change your mind. Notes of warm wood and sticky pine resin, butterscotch and honey, with a sweet anise thread underneath - soft and round, nothing like the sharp stereotypical pine scent many expect.

This roller is our own 100% pure Ponderosa Pine essential oil, pre-diluted in organic fractionated coconut oil and ready to wear. Roll it on for a warm, sweet scent that evokes memories of the dry side of the Pacific Northwest.

Ponderosa Pine defines the dry, open forests east of the Cascades and across much of the interior West. Its thick, puzzle-like bark and tall, widely spaced stands reflect an ecology shaped by frequent low-intensity fire. Culturally it is a hallmark western lumber species. The aroma leans to warm wood and ambered resin with natural vanilla and honey undertones and a subtle anise seed note, not the sharp “pine” many expect.
