Noble Fir is the most understated essential oil we distill. It grows in the high country of the Cascades, with notes of sticky resin and crisp alpine air, finishing clean and balsamic. Very well balanced, and never sharp.

This is 100% pure Noble Fir essential oil, steam-distilled in small batches here in Oregon from fresh needles & twigs, with nothing added. In a diffuser, expect crisp yet subtle - a scent that sits in the background and grows on you rather than one that overpowers.

Aroma: mild evergreen, resinous, balsamic, lightly grassy.

Botanical: Abies procera, needles and twig tips.

Method: steam distilled.

Origin: Oregon, USA.

Batch note: single batch and seasonal; natural variation is part of the character.

100% Noble Fir (Abies procera) essential oil.

Diffuse 4 to 6 drops per 100 mL water. For home scenting, add a drop to an unscented wool dryer ball or a cotton pad for linens, avoiding direct contact with finished wood and plastics. This is pure, undiluted essential oil and is not a skin product. For skin, the body oils, beard oils, and rollers are made for that.

For external use only. Not for skin. Avoid eyes and mucous membranes. Not for use on pets. Keep out of reach of children. Flammable, keep away from heat and flame. If you are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor’s care, consult a qualified professional before use. Store tightly capped in a cool, dark place.

Disappointing Performance

The scent is amazing, exactly like the tree itself! However, it does not disperse very far, or last very long. In that regard I am disappointed.
For the first few minutes, when I'm right next to the diffuser(sentient) I can smell it. After that I need to get close to the diffuser to get any smell, and an hour later it's very faint.
If the company can find a way to improve that I'd be right on board and spread the word because the scent itself is sooooo nice.

Thank you Nancy, and I am so glad the scent itself is landing - that means a lot to hear. The performance side is worth explaining honestly though: pure conifer essential oils are very rich in light monoterpenes, which is what gives them that bright, true-to-tree character, but also means they are naturally more volatile than synthetic fragrances or heavily fixed blends. They diffuse quickly and fade faster than what most people are used to. It is just the nature of a real, undiluted oil with no additives.

Exactly what I've been searching for

I've tried several species of fir EO over the years, and had given up my search for noble fir, resigned to never smell it again after having moved away from the PNW. Other firs are great, but to my nose, they lack something only found in noble fir. Now here it is in a bottle, smelling exactly as I remember it, as pure and true as a handful of freshly crushed needles. I'm not sure why the fragrance industry seems to have forgotten about noble fir, but I have a feeling that will change in the near future.

Amazingly fresh

This scent is very strong and amazingly fresh. Just a drop makes any oil or potpourri smell like walking through a forest.

Almost like home

I’m a PNW transplant currently living in Savannah, GA. While there are beautiful live oaks, Spanish moss and pine trees here, I miss the fir trees of the PNW.

I ordered a Noble Fir sapling to grow here. It died.

I received a Christmas wreath from a cascade tree farm and wept at the scent of my beloved Noble fir. I hung it inside so I could smell it every time I walked by.

It too dried up and the scent faded.

Along comes Rogue Evergreens on an ad on Facebook. A room spray of Noble Fir essential oil? Yes please!!!!

It’s a shame I wasn’t filming my reaction to opening the bottle and smelling the luscious smell. I danced around the kitchen, tears in my eyes. It. Smells. So. Good. Just like being home.

Wonderful way to get ready for Christmas

It is so nice to get an essential oil that you know is pure. It’s a wonderful rich pine scent. Besides getting ready for Christmas we are following some research on the ability of pine essential oils to increase your natural killer cells. Hoping to amplify the immune systems in our household through cold and flu season while making the house smell amazing.

Best Noble Fir scent!

I’m so glad I found you guys! I’ve been looking for a realistic Noble scent for my artificial Christmas tree and this is spot on. It’s perfect! I spray it on my tree and nearby chairs.
