Incense Cedar is our strongest and most nuanced essential oil. Deep, complex, and mildly spicy, with notes of black pepper and crushed ginger through warm, dry cedar and fresh sawdust. It's the characteristic scent of the eastern Cascades and the Sierra Nevada, and a little goes a long way.

Each bottle is 100% pure Incense Cedar essential oil, steam-distilled in small batches right here in Oregon, with nothing added. A few drops in a diffuser will quickly spread across a room and evoke memories of a sunny afternoon at Lake Tahoe or Yosemite.

The deepest and strongest scent we make, for anyone who wants depth, warmth, and a little spice - and the right gift for the woodshop-and-leather-boots person in your life.

Diffuse 4 to 6 drops per 100 mL water. For topical use, dilute to 1 to 2 percent in a carrier oil, about 6 to 12 drops per ounce, and patch test first. For home scenting, add a drop to an unscented wool dryer ball or a cotton pad for linens, avoiding direct contact with finished wood and plastics.

For external use only. Always dilute before skin use. Avoid eyes and mucous membranes. Not for use on pets. Keep out of reach of children. Flammable; keep away from heat and flame. If you are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor’s care, consult a qualified professional before use. Store tightly capped in a cool, dark place.

Incense Cedar, Woody, Woodsy, Spicy, and Vanilla

Incense Cedar (Calocedrus decurrens) grows in mixed-conifer forests from California into southern Oregon. It is drought tolerant, straight grained, and aromatic, valued for rot-resistant lumber and classic pencil wood. The aroma is deep and mildly spicy, with clean cedar shavings, fresh sawdust, and crushed ginger, finishing warm with a quiet chai-like impression.

Real Trees. Real Scents.

Every scent we offer comes directly from the wild, free from parabens, phthalates, and synthetic fragrance. From forest to bottle, our goal is simple: to offer the authentic aroma of the trees, exactly as nature made them.

Made by Hand, Every Step.

We don’t outsource our process. We are the harvesters, the distillers, the blenders, and the bottlers, keeping it small so every product meets our standards.
