Our Sustainable Focus
At Rogue Evergreens, sustainability is our working method. We harvest thoughtfully, use what already exists, and stay accountable to the forests we work in.
We practice selective bough tipping. Cuts are small and spaced across many trees, leaders are left intact, and areas are rotated so branches have time to regrow. We avoid stressed trees and keep live crown intact. The goal is simple: keep the tree healthy and the stand improving over time.
Much of our raw material comes from fuel-reduction and stand-improvement projects in southern Oregon. By partnering with landowners, forestry professionals, and agencies such as the U.S. Forest Service, we make use of branches and small-diameter material that are removed to lower wildfire hazard and improve forest structure. Our role is to add value to that work by turning by-products into something useful.
For us, sustainability means using available material first, minimizing impact in the field, and respecting the landscapes that make our work possible.
