Founder of Rogue Evergreens

Hunter Stanke

I have been working with trees most of my life. I planted my first field of Christmas trees at fifteen and followed that curiosity into forestry, eventually beginning a PhD in forestry ecology before choosing to step away and work with my hands again. I also grew up around a distillery, so the mechanics of heat, vapor, and patience were familiar long before I started distilling conifers.

Rogue Evergreens began with a simple question from customers who bought my holiday wreaths and garland: how do I bring this scent home? I started small-batch distilling local conifers and found that each species carries a distinct profile worth presenting on its own. That idea became the core of the brand. Scents designed by nature, presented in an honest and authentic way.

Today I run the work from field to bottle in Ashland, Oregon. Every batch is distilled, rested, and bottled without unnecessary additives so the authentic aroma of the trees read clearly in the final product. If you recognize a place when you smell it, I have done my job.
